Job Description

A renowned hotel is looking for Executive Housekeeper

Report To: General Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise all housekeeping employees, hire new employees as needed, discharges employees when necessary and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed.
  • Plans the work for housekeeping department and distributes assignments accordingly. Assigns regular duties and special duties for housekeeping staff.
  • Recruit and train new employees.
  • Approves all supply requisitions, such as for spreads and bathroom rugs. Maintains a lost-and -found department and be responsible for all-lost-and found items.
  • Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel.
  • Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard.
  • Prepare housekeeping budget.
  • Organize inventories with Accounts and General store for uniform and fixed assets
  • Assist in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping
  • Attending and resolving guest complaints
  • Organize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness

Required Skills or Experience

  • Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills. Able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role and 2 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • A degree in hotel management or any related field
  • Exceptional communication skills
