Job Environment

  • Office and Field

Job Responsibilities

  • Report directly to Sustainability Manager
  • Ensure HSE Policies and SOP’s (as required) are current, displayed at key locations and communicated to the workforce at induction sessions.
  • Maintain the Plantations safety statistics and utilize for reporting to the Sustainability Manager and others as may be requested.
  • Create safety awareness among workers.
  • Prepare monthly safety reports.
  • Identify conditions likely to cause accidents and implement procedures to avert them.
  • Educate employees on the dangers attached to their work environment.
  • Perform any other responsibility(ies) that you may be assigned.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of First Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Engineering
  • HSE Certification from a recognized institution or body
  • Minimum of 5 years post-National Service working experience in the agro-industrial or related sector
  • Knowledge of RSPO Certification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in Emergency Response
  • Knowledge in Risk-assessment and incident investigation
