Job Description

A Reputable bank needs the services of a Legal Officer.

Main Responsibilities

• Represent the bank in all cases
• Review and draft all legal documents
• Review and draft correspondence to external entities
• Provide legal advice for management and the Board of Directors
• Act as Secretary to the board of directors
• Assist the Human Resource Department in all Labour issues relating to the bank
• Co-ordinate cases with external solicitors
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Board of Directors

Required Skills or Experience

Educational background/Experience

• LLB degree, a minimum of two (2) years at the Ghana Bar.
• Experience in the banking sector will be an advantage.

Competencies Required

• Analytical skills
• Must be knowledgeable in company law practice.
• Must be knowledgeable in laws relating to banking.
• Must have experience and be competent in litigation.
• Must be called to the Ghana Bar.
