JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager, Banking Operations is responsible for ensuring that Banking Operations of the Company are performed in line with laid down procedures and implement strategies to enable the organisation meet its goals.
DUTIES
- Responsible for overall Banking Operations
- Provide innovative and creative leadership in the establishment and maintenance of management and operational systems to ensure added value and customer-oriented focus.
- Manage operational staff resources and effectively administer performance evaluations and coaching for optimal skill development in the areas of Deposit Mobilization, IRA Administration, E-Banking and Project Management.
- Oversee, supervise and coordinate all branch activities at the head office
- Oversee the Compliance and Internal Audit area of the Bank to ensure policies, procedures, and controls are properly administered.
- Oversee operational elements of deposit services and e-Banking to ensure account processing workflow execution is effective, efficient and timely.
- Execute appropriate level of fraud monitoring and prevention activities, especially in the e-Banking environment.
- Reports operational volume, trends, risk elements, and fraud performance factors to Senior Management on a consistent basis.
- Responsible for implementing strong deposit mobilization and e-Banking internal policies and procedures to ensure the control standards are effective and meet regulatory expectation.
- Oversee the Core Processing Account to ensure core processing feature/functions meet service level expectations and collaborates on new features to support the Bank’s strategic initiatives.
- Participate as Operational Lead on new initiatives that support the Bank’s Strategic Plan.

Required Skills or Experience
- A minimum of a 1st degree in a relevant discipline and a Chartered Member of CIB
- A 2nd degree qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum have 10 years work experience
