Job Description

  • Reports To:    Operations Manager
  • Coordinates With: Fuel Management Officer, Fuel Management Manager, Field Teams

Purpose Of The Job:

  • To collect fueling data, analyze and report any discrepancies for decision making

Essential Functions &  Responsibilities:

  • Review and prioritize activities based on the fuel schedule
  • Work in conjunction with other fuel team personnel to develop, implement and manage contingency plans throughout the fuel supply chains
  • Commitment to health, environment and safety and the clients best practices
  • Collecting and interpreting data
  • Maintenance of an accurate database on data collected and analyzed
  • Analyzing results
  • Weekly/Daily/Monthly submission of reports on analyzed data
  • Verification of the errors detected with technicians
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data analyze

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Fuel Unit’s action program and plan

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the activities of field engineers/Technicians relating to data collection and cross checking of data.

General Duties:

  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

  • Data Accuracy
  • Timely reporting and free from errors
  • Prompt reconciliation on identified discrepancies
  • Timely collection of data
  • Up to date database on data collected and analyzed.
  • Strict adherence to health and safety process and procedures.

Required Skills or Experience

  • At least an HND / Degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics or similar field
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience

Experience

  • Highly proficient in the use of computers , software applications and Microsoft Office program
  • Minimum one (1) year relevant experience in a similar position

Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Power point, access.
  • Knowledge and understanding of fuel standards and operating
  • Knowledge in fuel supply chain operations

Skills & Abilities

  • Conflict resolution skill.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to travel to site when require
