Job Description

This position will be responsible for developing Customer & Product Support Capabilities in West Africa.

This position will require where and when necessary to also assist in training. This position requires that product support and customer/dealer satisfaction goals are achieved for a specific geographic area of responsibility by developing channel partner technical and customer support capability

MAJOR DUTIES

  • Resolves product and performance issues with channel partners/customers and communicates with factories on appropriate issues and solutions
  • Manages efforts in developing channel partner's product support capabilities (Service ADVISOR, Dealer Technical Assistance Center, Tools, facilities, Warranty Administration) to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assists with product training, technical, and/or management training to channel partners, company employees or customers and facilitates channel partner employee development by counseling them on training plans and class enrollment.
  • Provides marketing support product optimization via customer clinics and Assisting with demonstrations and farm shows.
  • Administers Company product warranty/Product Improvement Program (PIP) policies And resolves other reimbursement issues.
  • Depending on division requirements, may develop channel partner's service managemen t/profitability capabilities.
  • Administers product support policies and/or processes.
  • Tracks and reports competitive performance.
  • Manage efforts in Developing Dealers in ensuring that all requirements are met within the designated time period to ensure timely order of Complete goods
  • Ability to work in an team environment and to perform under pressure
  • Willingness to work extended hours to stay in contact with platform contacts in order to resolve product queries should the need arise

Required Skills or Experience

The ideal candidate must be in possession of the following skills/expertise:

  • Experience in the agricultural industry would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of dealers and other channels
  • Business Degree
  • Understanding of Customer Support Processes
  • Skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Good administrative and computer system abilities
  • Microsoft package knowledge
  • Strong Technical Capabilities
  • Be dedicated to customer excellence
  • Understanding of parts business and parts processes
  • Understanding of Product support systems
