Job Description

Our client is a leading automobile dealership with operations around the country seeking to employ a suitably qualified and well-motivated person to the position of Marketing Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Performs data collection, statistical and numerical analyses in support of strategic, tactical or performance improvement plans.
  • Gathers information, analyzes, designs, recommends and implements solutions in area of responsibility
  • Manages operations and resources, monitors, reports and develops strategies to improve on key performance metrics
  • Creates and maintains project work plans, campaigns and budgets.
  • Schedules and manages work activities for projects/campaigns to ensure on-time and in-budget completion, while achieving revenue retention/attainment or performance improvement goals
  • Develops business or marketing plans based on customer expectations; including performance objectives, strategies, tactics and financial projections
  • Interfaces with business units appropriate for the assurance of timely execution of customer-related projects
  • Defines customer segments and develops customer segment strategies including market scans, gap analyses, metrics and customer service expectations
  • Represents the department management at cross-functional meetings
  • Provides expertise, guidance and/or work direction and participates in the training of internal and external (vendor) staff

Required Skills or Experience

  • University Degree in Marketing or Economics or Statistics
  • Five (5) years’ work experience in automobile industry.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Principles of Project Management
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in team or matrix structure
  • Multi-tasking
  • Initiate new ideas to challenge orthodox practices
