Job Description

A Reputable Investments Management Company is seeking a qualified, competent, hardworking, dedicated and honest individual for immediate employment as an ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Job Description

  • Preparation of Petty Cash and Cash Books
  • Filing of Tax, VAT and Social Security Fund contribution returns
  • Monthly reconciliation of Bank Statements with Cash Book
  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts for decision making
  • Assist to develop short, medium and long – term financial plans and budgets
  • Provide financial information and reports to regulators such as Bank of Ghana, Securities & Exchange Commission & National Pensions Regulatory Authority.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Commerce or at least level 2 of ICA or ACCA
  • Completion of GSE Courses is required
  • A good understanding of financial markets
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting software and a good knowledge of Fund Management and Banking Software are indispensable
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Package, especially Excel in the area of financial reporting
  • Good writing and presentation skills
  • The ability to quickly and aptly analyse and carryout instructions
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be a person of high integrity
