Job Description

Job responsibilities

  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, locker rooms and other work areas so that work standards are met
  • Clean rugs, furniture, vacuum cleaners
  • Empty Waste baskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing machines
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment
  • Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean, and tidy
  • Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
  • Remove debris from driveways, and swimming pool areas.
  • Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork and polishing as necessary
  • Request repair services when needed
  • Move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses
  • Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, and report damage, theft and found articles to the Executive Housekeeper

Required Skills or Experience

  • Must have at least two (3) years’ experience in housekeeping in luxury hotel environment
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must have customer service attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A Diploma/HND
  • Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft office products
