Job Description

  • To effectively communicate/design communication material for product benefits to all the relevant stakeholders in the value chain
  • To prepare, present and implement marketing business plan  per promoted product on an annual basis.
  • To provide strategic product direction & to create and execute product tactical plans aligned with strategy within specified time frames via the sales force and to measure quantitatively and qualitatively thereafter. 
  • Maintain key customer and opinion leader contact to maximize product performance in the respective areas and support current and future objectives
  • Responsible for adapting and implementing global corporate strategies into the countries marketplace. 
  • To develop and manage ongoing relationships with Distributor leadership of the country in order to leverage support for corporate initiatives as well as to ensure that the company is in tune with their needs in growing the business. 
  • This is a Management Position with direct responsibility for sales and has responsibility for creating a sales and marketing growth strategy to ensure long term market growth in the country (including focus on sponsorships; Distributor/consumer communications & momentum; brand awareness & product marketing). 
  • The role includes the management of Marketing and Sales strategies. 
  • Overall responsibility for taking the necessary actions to achieve sales goals through managing cost and providing necessary support to our independent sales force.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at (Senior) Management level within a Sales and  Marketing role
  • Experience in working in an international environment and with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Experience of marketing regulations and ethics
  • Organising & promoting corporate events, exhibitions, conferences & seminars (preferable)
  • Managing budgets; market analysis; analysing sales figures, etc.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to develop strong relationships with others in order to meet objectives.
  • Experience in dealing with external authorities/Govt agencies and ministries would be ideal but not essential
  • Experience working and travelling abroad
  • Must have a track record of setting and achieving goals, delivering results on budget and wihin set deadlines.
  • Event management and event planning co-ordination experience.
  • Project Management experiences with good analytical skills, is a creative thinker yet has the ability to remain strategic, plan and solve problems
  • Minimum Degree or equivalent in a related field
