Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assembly and configure computers, and the network infrastructure. 
• Ensure the connectivity of Personal Computers, laptops, handhelds and other computing devices to the Company wide Network.
• Assist with the management of the data backup/Restore activity on the google drive cloud storage space
• Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly and periodic backups are taken to provide adequate system recovery tools.
• Troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades where applicable; collaborate with network architects on network implementation and optimization.
• Establish and enforce policies which includes defining and monitoring access to network security systems
• Report network operational status: Gathers, prioritizes informs and manages projects.
• Set-up/configure  application required by user
• Recommend, evaluate, implement end point and perimeter security.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

• Reduction in IT operational cost and time savings
• Increase company network availability and uptime

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
• 3 years relevant working experience

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
• Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Experience with local area network and wide area network administration.
