Summary purpose and objective of role The Assistant Programme Manager will be responsible for providing programmatic, operational financial and administrative assistance to the Mental Health and Disability programme, ensuring it is delivered effectively, efficiently and to a high standard. This includes supporting the management of the operations and logistics, office management support, programme budget, providing inputs to programme reports and developing project management systems. The Assistant Programme Manager will work closely with the Programme Manager who will have an overview of their responsibilities. They will have the opportunity to directly engage with the programme team based in Ghana and occasionally with the UK based team in order to successfully delivering complex, global health programmes. This position is line managed by a Programme Manager within the Programme Management team and will be based in the programme office in Accra, Ghana.
