Job Description

The Senior ICT Assistant will assist the Head of ICT Unit in the performance of his/her duties which include:

• Supervising the construction and maintenance of the University lCT operational model and overseeing lCT network and internet operations.
• Making detailed plans to accomplish lCT management and technical goals.
• Organising and supervising subordinate lCT related staff.
• Supervising the installation and upgrading of hardware and software, programming and systems design, development of computer networks, implementation of internet and intranet sites.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

• Conditions of service are as applicable in Government subvented Universities of Ghana.

Required Skills or Experience

• Applicant must hold Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in ICT, Computer Science and Engineering or related discipline
• She/he must have served as an ICT Assistant in a comparable grade in a similar institution/organisation for at least 4 years.
• Applicants must also have excellent human relations, service-oriented attitude and strong communication skills etc.
