A newly-established alcoholic beverage distribution company requires the services of Logistics/ Transport Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery targets and quality parameters are met
• Set and monitor dispatching of trucks
• Liaise with Business Development Managers to ensure zero outstanding payments with clients
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of service with zero waste.

Truck movements and performance

• Develop cost cutting strategies to effectively utilize trucks and drivers
• Ensure all trucks are in good condition, active and available for dispatch
• Reporting on dispatched and faulty trucks
• Reporting on the cycle time of trucks

Remuneration

Attractive but negotiable salary based on qualifications and experience.

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
• HND/Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
