Job Description

REPORTS TO: Marketing & Sales Manager

PURPOSE
Responsible for the provision of technical sales support to clients to meet the Company’s sales and profit objectives within the designated sales zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement the Marketing Plan for the company and manage key performance indicators (KPI) to drive performance to meet targets and deadline.
  • Develop an effective marketing intelligence system to keep in touch with developments in the market and report on competitive activities.
  • Identify and develop new customers and markets for the company’s lubricant business and ensure the retention of both new and existing customers.
  • Manage and improve account receivables by putting in place credit control and collection system to ensure payment within negotiated and agreed terms.
  • Ensure conformance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) issues in all areas of operation.
  • Provide excellent technical support to the sales team and customers:
  • Provide timely daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports.

Required Skills or Experience

  • HND /B.sc in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A qualification in Marketing would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • A team player with a high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadline
