Job Description
A leader in the Commercial Laundry industry is currently looking to hire a highly competent and proactive Sales Manager- Commercial Laundry to help with their operations in Ghana.
Role Profile
The selected person will be responsible for implementing strategies to increase onboard sales within the organization and oversee the daily laundry operations to ensure quality standards and total client satisfaction.
He or she will double as the Operations Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop market analysis strategy in coordination with the Managing Director
- Responsible for meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting.
- Develop and maintain the relationship with customers by being a valued consultant and that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Implement company directed sales program, promotions and strategies to achieve growth and profit plans. Plan strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.
- Map potential customers and generate leads and new opportunities for the organization.
- Supervise and motivate all laundry personnel with daily supervision to include staffing, training, scheduling and monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all services, and productivity standards to provide customer satisfaction.
- Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data
- Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients and attending networking events
- Building trusted and long-term relationships with clients
- Motivating team members to exceed expected goals
- Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
- Other duties as required
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing and/or Communications
Experience
- Minimum two years of sales experience in the commercial/industrial laundry
Requirements
- Knowledge of the laundry industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of operations in the laundry departments including budgeting, staffing, equipment & products use
- Good experience in developing and executing sales plans
- Excellent networking, research and negotiation skills
- Good interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent business writing and strong analytical skills
- Excellent customer service.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Should be proactive and a solution provider
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated and proven sales results
- Valid Driver’s License
