Job Description

A leading Private Security company is seeking to recruit Business Development and Digital Marketing Officer to drive its Commercial Function in Ghana.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepare and deliver business development plans in line with company’s strategy and ensure its implementation.
  • Handle new business tenders/bids in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business report.
  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with company management to determine the most viable and cost-effective approaches to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Design, build, and maintain the company’s social media presence.
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range digital issues that must be addressed.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize performance based on the insights.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Required Skills or Experience

  • First degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or relevant field.
  • Additional qualification in Digital Marketing, web design or animation is a plus.
  • Five (5) years working experience in a similar position/environment.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital media executive or Digital marketing specialist.
  • Analytical thinking and research skills.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • Socially engaged, easy communicator, convincing and representative attitude.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint mandatory).

  • Must possess a high sense of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Well-organized with a good time management skill.
  • Must possess cultural awareness by being friendly and polite.
  • Able to deal with difficult internal users as well as suppliers.
