Job Description

A Rural Bank in the Volta Region is looking for a dynamic young professional as an Assistant Internal Auditor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform audit checks on general operations according to the Bank’s policy and directions from the Internal Audit Manager
• Post audit and verification of operational vouchers
• Pre audit documents on Requisitions, LPOs, Medical refunds, Micro Finance disbursements and submit to the Audit Manager for recommendation of approval
• Inspection of deliveries to store and Quarterly Stock take on stationery items, value books and other properties of the Bank at store and report on them
• Weekly reports on operational vouchers
• Verification on all types of account opening and their required Documents
• Post audit monthly reconciliations and report on them
• Compile data and other reports and organize for monthly audit reports and statements.
• Proper filing of letters and documents

Required Skills or Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Ability to work with less supervision
• Ability to pay keen attention to details
• A good leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability meet deadlines

Experience: at least two years in an accounting/ auditing role

Age limit: Not more than 40 years
