Job Description

Responsible for planning, installing, upgrading, configuring, repairing, and maintaining network-based Pioneer Safety and Security systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, Video Surveillance, Digital Video Recording and other systems supporting the safety and security of Pioneer employees, contractors and facilities.

 Job Duties

• Evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot systems utilizing local and remote tools and technologies, and perform/schedule repairs as necessary.
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance and equipment inspection program to ensure optimal system operation and performance.
• Assist with designing, planning and installing new and expanded systems, preparing and updating system configuration documentation as appropriate.
• Plan, configure and troubleshoot network technologies, including workstations, servers, routers, switches, hubs and storage devices.  Interface with IT as required.
• Provide system user training and technical support.
• Ensure Video Surveillance equipment quality of images and recordings, validating minimum desired recording history is maintained.
• Coordinate and oversee vendors and suppliers of parts and services.
• Performs system software and firmware upgrades as required.
• Maintain inventory of critical need spare equipment and parts.

Salary: GHS 1,200
