SITE ENGINEER(ELECTRICAL)

Our client, a Mechanical and Electrical Services (MEP) company is looking to hire a proactive Site Engineer to help with their operations in Ghana.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be resolving site issues and ensuring that work is completed according to specifications. Will be responsible for project management and engineering tasks ranging from designing electrical plans to monitoring contractors.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to manage any project size.
• Able to interface with client building contractor etc.
• Manage safety of equipment and plant.
• Supervise electrical testing.
• Mark installed drawing fuse board charts etc.
• Report changes, variations and site changes to project manager.
• Maintain an organized site office including paperwork.
• Be involved in material delivery including medium term planning.
• Ordering of needed materials through the project manager.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in workplace environmental, health and safety program management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of all tools and materials relevant to the Electrical trade.                                                                        
• Knowledge of British Standard Electrical Regulations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.                                   
• Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Effective leadership skills
