Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To coordinate all business operations of the Company and other related activites robustly through the administration of implementing structures and operational procedures to enhance productivit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Oversees the general administration and coordination of the unit.
  • Collates suppliers’ documentations for registration of Medical devices with Ghana Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) on medical devices (e.g. COVID-19 RDT Testing Kits, RT-PCR Detection machine, Disposable face mask (3poly), KN95 Mask –With Valve, KN95 without valve, Infrared thermometer, etc.)
  • Advises management on FDA and Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) requirement and compliance issues.
  • Handles all registration and approval challenges with regulatory bodies
  • Management of products  branding and educates them on the importance of branding compliance as local partner (Client Support Services)
  • Develops COVID-19 project documents and proposals
  • Develops tracking tools and reporting templates
  • Manage and handle all incoming and outgoing correspondences.
  • Development of work process mapping for the respective portfolios.
  • Liaises and seeks technical input from technical experts and organisations within the industry
  • Prepares proposals for the implementation of new businesses and projects.
  • Liaises with regulatory bodies such as Ghana Standard Authority (GSA), Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Noguchi, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Plant Protection and Regulatory Services Directorate (PPRSD) , Ministry of Health (MOH) and others that may come up to conduct tests on products and obtain all required documentation and onward approval.
  • Liaises with management on issues and discussions on innovations and creative ways of accomplishing task(s).

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Project Management/ Business Development
  • Certification in Public/ Environmental Health
  • Minimum experience of 3 years
  • Industry experience

TECHNICAL

  • Knowledgeable in Business development and inventory management
  • Knowledgeable in GSA, EPA, FDA and other regulatory bodies’ terminologies and requirements
  • Knowledge of the Public Health industry, its standards and principles
  • Must have knowledge and control over all the products we deal in and their specifications
  • Ability to research and prepare proposals
  • Good analytical skills, detail handling, problem solving and practical learning
