A leading destination management company seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position of tourism Manager.

ROLE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting tourism and devising tourist development initiatives/campaigns with the aim of generating and increasing revenue. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage development and implementation of Business strategy
• Monitor and report company’s performance (monthly performance analysis report and financial reports against targets)
• Manage product development process to ensure unique and defendable position
• Establish and maintain an effective local marketing and sales strategy (B2B contracts)
• Meet the annual sales target set in the budget.
• Develop external relationships and partnerships and represent the company.
• Perform any other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Economics, Business Administration or Tourism Management.
• 10 years’ experience in tourism industry
• Senior level management experience; Company management experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• Perfect knowledges of DMC operations.
• Proven experience in Group Operations and other areas of the company is a plus
• Fluency in spoken and written English
