Job Description

A professional services company is looking for a resilient, empathic business development executive (BDE) to contribute to the growth of our company. The BDE will be responsible for finding and retaining clients, encouraging extant clients to purchase added services, and remaining abreast of changes in consumption. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Familiarizing with all products and services 
  • Developing and sustaining trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients
  • Prospecting for new clients through direct contact and online applications.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  • Suggesting upgrades or new services for optimum client experience.
  • Drafting business proposals and contracts to increase revenue
  • Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
  • Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
  • Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Keeping abreast with the current trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant and competitive.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
  • Extensive sales and marketing experience.
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
  • Neat, well-groomed appearance 
  • Very professional yet affable disposition 
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Great networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
  • Emboldened by challenges.
