Company Profile VIS GHANA is a recognized Italian NGO working in Ghana since 2015. The organization is established in the Greater Accra and Bono and Bono East region, with an office in Ashaiman and one in Sunyani, implementing development projects in partnership with the Salesians of Don Bosco. The main sectors of intervention in the country are: migration and development; education, professional training; capacity building; environment. Job Description Currently VIS GHANA is implementing the project ‘’Local Economic Empowerment for Women, Youth and Vulnerable groups through CSOs and LAs concerted action (LEEWYV)’’ financed by the European Union and the project ‘’Supporting local development tackling irregular migration from Ghana’’ financed by the Italian Bishop’s Conference. In this framework, VIS GHANA is implementing TVET trainings in 10 Mentorship Farms in the Bono and Bono East Regions and is recruiting a Teacher in Organic Agriculture and Livestock Production. This is a full-time position based in Sunyani for 8 months with possibility of extension. The expecting start date is 08/11/2021. MAIN PURPOSE He/She will support the TVET trainings in Organic Agriculture, implemented in the 10 Mentorship Farms supported by the Program with monitoring activities and by delivering specific trainings in traditional livestock production (piggery and poultry), beekeeping, grasscutter production and mushroom cultivation.
