Job Description

• Field Officers (FO) – Savings Group (Fixed term contract, renewable)
• Locations: Kadjebi

Purpose
To serve as the link between VisionFund Ghana and Savings groups in relation to promoting VISIONFUND GHANA products.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new groups and promote VISIONFUND GHANA products through field visit and market research.
• Conduct group assessment and group recognition test on new and existing groups.
• Make group recommendation and group savings loans to the Client Service Manager.
• Conduct periodic group meetings and product knowledge trainings to groups to achieve group retention.
• Ensure that pre and post draw-down conditions are met by the savings groups
• Facilitate timely disbursement of loans to savings groups and provide adequate support to existing groups.
• Follow up on savings group to ensure timely loan repayment

Required Skills or Experience

• Demonstrate a good team spirit
• Should have a good track record of integrity and good conduct
• Ability to work effectively and relate well with people from diverse backgrounds
• Must demonstrate skills of one who is pro-active and self-motivated
• Ability to ride motor bike with a valid license.
• Senior High School Certificate or higher.
• Relevant experience in the field of banking or a similar role is an advantage.
