Job Description

The Client Activation Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and review of all client focus marketing activities aimed at increasing client flow in all MSIG Clinics and increasing calls to the Contact centre. Ideal candidate must live in Tamale or its environs.

Key responsibilities

Marketing Planning and Implementation:
  • In conjunction with centre team, undertake effective planning and execution of below the line awareness creation activities to ensure high volumes of clients are accessing services core and non-core services at the centre of excellence. 
  • Work in collaboration with marketing unit to develop insight led centre specific marketing strategies and execution plans through various above the line media channels (radio, digital and PR).
  • Deploy centre visibility materials in the catchment of each centre 
  • Work with pharmacies, herbal shops, groups and community marketing agents to develop and manage referral points to ensure active and continues client referral to MSG centres.
  • Ensure all marketing tools (Tables, Banners, Gazebo tents, pull ups and backdrops) provided by the marketing unit are always in good conditions.
  • Ensure that the MSIG call centre cards and other promotional materials are distributed to encourage clients and potential clients to access the call centre so information and telemedicine services. 
Financial Management Responsibilities:
  • Account for all marketing expenditures according to set MSG financial standards
  • Retrieve and review all e-referral coupons for verification and incentive payments by marketing.
  • Keep documentary evidence of all referrals made by referral point and agents for purposes of payment and reporting.    
Marketing Metrics:
  • Update marketing activity report for each centre monthly.
  • Track performance of marketing activities in EHR
  • Apply rapid insight gathering tools to glean client and competitor insights on price and promotions.

Required Skills or Experience

  • At least Three (3) years post qualification experience in working within Marketing or Sale environment. 
  • Experience with Healthcare organisation NGOs and/or government agencies in a similar role will be an advantage.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and creatively.
  • Experience in marketing to corporate and groups 
  • Analytical and results oriented; Honest; Mature and reliable
  • Ability to manage and works independently and efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive and action oriented
  • Experience in working on the field marketing activations 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office suit 
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines 
  • Outstanding organisational and record keeping skills 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Willingness and ability to do field work and interact with communities 
  • Must be pro-choice and a team player 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree/HND in Marketing, Project Management, PR
