Job Description

A reputable media house in Tamale is recruiting experienced and proactive sales and marketing executives.

The preferred candidates are expected to:

• Help build up the channel by meeting and exceeding daily and weekly sales targets;
• Maintain existing portfolio of clients;
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities;
• Evaluate client needs;
• Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling;
• Networking and social media;
• Setting up meetings with potential clients;
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on services rendered by the channel;
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales;
• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and conferences;
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections;
• Collaborate with team members to achieve targets;
• Gather feedback from clients or prospects and share with Channel Head.

Required Skills or Experience

• HND/DBS/DEGREE
• Must have completed National Service
• Excellent knowledge of MS office
• Must be a fast learner and have passion for sales
• Excellent communication skills ,well organised and a team player
• Proven experience as a sales executive or any relevant role in Tamale is an added advantage
