Job Summary

A reputable construction company into ready-mix concrete is searching for experienced candidates for the position batch plan operator to weigh and mix concrete materials and maintains plant.  We will consider candidate that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent. On the job training may be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to produce on-time and in-spec concrete for the customer
• Must be able to operate plant controls and programs
• Responsible for daily inspection of facilities, do necessary repairs and will complete maintenance checklist
• Keep accurate inventory of cement and maintain proper raw material levels and order as needed.
• Load aggregate material into batch plant
• Executes clean up procedures at the end of work day

Required Skills or Experience

• HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering
• 2-3 years relevant experience in concrete batching
• Understanding of plant operation
• Project management
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• License of professional engineer
• Residing and ability to speak northern local dialects is a plus
