Job Summary

An engineering construction company into pre-mix concrete production is looking for a dynamic person to plan and coordinate pre-mix concrete production activities to meet customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• To run the whole factory site including concrete production.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements within the production regulations.
• To maintain the plant in good clean working order, while work on ongoing improvements across the whole site.
• To ensure that all the required documentation is maintained up to date.
• To work with the sales department to offer a high level of service to our customers.
• Routine monitoring of materials and required materials are available for production
• Routine scheduling of drivers
• Sampling and testing concrete
• Assisting with lab trials and testing
• People Management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance review to ensure delivery of objectives through Team working.
• Good communication with staff to ensure good harmony and team spirit
• Ensure that concretes are batched safely and load trucks according to order specification, ensuring the highest level of quality while maintaining high efficiency
• Schedule drivers for the next day as needed to meet production requirement by our customers.
• Actively motivate and coach drivers and other plant staff.
• Communicate with Shop to coordinate planned services on plant trucks and heavy equipment.
• Ensures product produced meets customer specifications using the most cost effective and productive processes

Skills / Experience

• Good planning skills
• Self - motivation.
• Be proactive
• Organizational skills, with a basic understanding of computer operation, emails etc.
• Fit and healthy.
• Concrete production experience would be useful, but not essential, as training will be given.
• The ability to use the telephone to interact with customers, taking orders, ordering materials, and working with other department within the company sales, mechanical and transport.
