Job Purpose
Sales Support for Yokogawa DCS / SCADA Systems & Instrumentation / Analyzers products

Job Requirement
Sales Support Activities for Systems (and other Yokogawa products) which mainly include:

• Technical Discussions with Customer & End User
• Technical Clarifications to Customer’s Queries on Proposal made by Yokogawa
• System Presentations (DCS & SCADA as well as other Yokogawa products)
• Interactions Yokogawa Technical & Sales people
• Monitor the activities of competitors in the market and implement strategies to counter them.
• Review & understanding of customer requirement and provide Sales strategies to get new business.  
• Assist the Yokogawa Sales teams and Local Business Partners by conducting joint customer visits and advising on tiering strategy, quotation & proposal content
• Recognize sales opportunities and develop new accounts with key customers
• Understanding Yokogawa Proposal documentation
• Technical review, bid clarification, with Yokogawa handling team
•  Functional / working knowledge of local/international standards, specifications and statuary requirements.ie IEC, ISA, ASI, ANSI, etc.
• Ensure all bids shall be submitted on time and follow up on the result of the submitted bids.
• Follow-up with clients for submitted quotations.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism around senior management and clients 

Required Skills or Experience

• BE in instrumentation engineering will be an advantage
• Min 3 years [3 – 6 years ]  of relevant experience in the industrial automation industry.
• Challenges: Complying to Proposal Deadlines which involves working extra hours (if required) & working on weekends
