Job Description

A reputable construction company has a vacancy for a Laboratory Technician to join its team in Kumasi. The job requirement includes;

• Testing materials, e,g. soil, concrete mix, asphalt etc., to ensure they meet contract specifications
• Write reports to explain technical details of tests conducted to your immediate supervisor
• Propose and advise engineers on the choice of for works that meets the right specifications
• Ensure that materials delivered to the site are of the right standard and meets contractual requirements

Required Skills or Experience

The qualified candidate should have;

• BSc/ HND in Materials or Civil Engineering
• at least (5) years’ experience as a Lab technician on a road construction
• good report writing skills
• good interpersonal skills
• proficiency in Microsoft suit
• ability to work under pressure
