Position Summary

A reputable construction company is in search of an experienced and dynamic individual as Project Engineer who will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of all assigned projects to assure accuracy, proper resources and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects
• Communicates on project progress, unusual concerns and plans
• Encompass operational, quality, environmental and safety aspects within the project design.
• Coordinates bills of materials issuance for construction and equipment
• Negotiates with every subcontractor for projects
• Manages budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Prepares progress reports and submit to direct supervisor on weekly basis
• Executes whole project in a cost and time effective manner
• Reviews project deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Supervisory Duties

• Organizes field work and assign technicians and staff specialists to tasks
• Monitors staff specialists’ field work and guides field personnel

Other Duties

• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related required
• Professional qualification in project management is a must

Skills and Competence

• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
• Ability to plan and coordinate site activities and assuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are phased with the project goals and objectives.
