Our client, a leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced individual for the role of a MARKETING SPECIALIST to support the operational aspects of projects and other matters that relate to the company’s operations.

ROLE PROFILE
The successful candidate will generate demand and hands on content creation for our solutions through developing marketing campaigns, working with channel partners and mining databases to uncover new prospects and target existing customer groups.

He/She will conceptualize, support and drive marketing efforts independently, with support from the regional marketing resources and the local team.

The successful candidate will also be involved with lead generation, prospecting, marketing campaign development, content creation, social media profile development and qualifying new account opportunities.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the country marketing objectives and direction through the contribution of the organization’s overall strategy
  • Drive growth in sales of our hardware and software solutions within new and existing customer groups by working with sales representatives to generate more leads and create targets campaigns
  • Define and create marketing plans based on strategic marketing and segmentation, identifying relevant target audiences, profiles and needs
  • Create content for marketing campaigns including articles, brochures/flyers, social media posts, infographics etc.
  • Assist and support sales team with content and tools needed to prospect and develop new business
  • Create lead generation using industry relevant data sources
  • Work with channel partners to support them with their marketing efforts
  • Refer sales leads and training needs to other appropriate sales personnel.
  • Track sales activities through Sales Force, including creating leads, converting sales opportunities, and working with sales people to deliver results
  • Work with customers to create testimonials and customer success stories
  • Work with salesforce maintaining database accuracy and mining information to develop sales campaigns
  • Manage marketing events, such as industry road shows
  • Create social outreach (such as success stories, videos, testimonials) with relevant content that generates lead generation, builds awareness of Hexagon brand and engages customer
  • Plan and execute digital marketing activities, direct email campaigns, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, email nurturing, and social media together with internal and external partners
  • Execute the localisation of industry marketing materials and programs, sales support tools, web presence and other marketing programs.
  • Provide Country-specific market and competitor analysis
  • Provide interpretation and counsel to Senior Management regarding marketing communications strategies including key messages, tactics, budgets, timing and measurement.
  • Recommending and managing the internal dissemination of company news, announcements and other communications
  • Develop and execute pre/post sales specific customer company-wide campaigns to increase awareness penetration
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree level with a qualification in Marketing, Communications, or relevant discipline.
  • A degree or diploma in a related Survey discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Marketing Communications
  • Experience in Salesforce.com is a plus

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in communicating and working with international organisations
  • Experience in Industrial Manufacturing and a B2B environment
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact skilfully and confidently with colleagues and a wide range of clients, to develop ideas, identify opportunities and influence outcomes
  • Experience in customer relationship management systems
  • Computer literate with experience using marketing computer software packages (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, Adobe CS, and Eloqua/Pardot.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Time management and organisational skills in managing multiple priorities and projects
  • High standard of professional and personal business conduct/presentation
  • Proactive, proven initiative and deadline driven
  • Possess solid experience in digital production and web-based project management and have a solid understanding of marketing and sales principles and processes
  • Working understanding of all facets of web development including strategy, design, usability, development, testing, implementation, and launch
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging new media technologies, information architecture, security, hosting, usability, accessibility guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships
