Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To conduct a first level technical troubleshooting and repairs while providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair machines / CDM modules return from field and branches.
  • Ensure repair job is performed in a proper and timely manner.
  • Ensure repaired items do not have any failure within 1 week.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in working condition.
  • Escalate issue regarding repair jobs to the immediate superior.
  • Submit daily repair report for Managers review.
  • Ensure workplace is cleaning and safe during working.
  •  Ensure the repair work is strictly following company standard operation procedure

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize analytical and creative problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Fully document each call/case
  • Generally deal with reports concerning matters that require tact and resourcefulness
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • An interface between management and clients

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Timely submission of reports
  • Zero records of any complains of dissatisfaction after repairs works
  • Strict Adherence to safety procedures
  • Prompt attendance and resolutions to all repairs jobs
  • Well-kept tools and equipment

Required Skills or Experience

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ NVTI or its equivalent is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 to 3years experience in Telecommunications, computer networking and repair.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong experience in electronics hardware trouble shooting.
  • Knowledge of managing spare part inventory and logistics. 
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional presentation and appearance.
  • Knowledge of testing and trouble isolation with other underlying carrier testers and field technicians.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to handle difficult customers and situations.
  • Must also have good typing and writing skills to perform their duties
  • Positive interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to identify, isolate, and communicate problems from and to all levels of users
