Job Description

• Position: Sales Engineer/Business developer
• Department Engineering Department

• Sales Support Activities for Systems(and other Control Systems) which mainly include technical discussions with customer and User
• Technical discussions with customers and user
• Technical clarification to customer’s queries
• System Presentations (DCS&SCADA as well as other Control systems)
• Interactions with Technical & Sales people
• Monitor the activities of competitors in the market  and implement strategies to get new business.
• Review & understand of customer’s requirement and provide Sales strategies to get new business
• Assist the technical Sales team and local business partners by conducting joint customer visits and advising on tiering strategy, quotation and proposal content 
• Recognize sales opportunities and develop new accounts with key customers
• Understanding of technical Proposal documentation
• Technical review, bid clarification with handling team
• Functional/ working knowledge of local/international standards, specifications and statuary requirements. ie IEC,ISA,ASI,ANSI, etc.
• Ensure all bids shall be submitted on time and follow up on the result of the submitted bids,
• Follow up with clients for submitted quotations
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism around senior management and clients

Required Skills or Experience

• B. Sc. In Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering will be an advantage
• Min 3 years (3-6 years) of relevant experience in the industrial automation industry
• Challenges : Complying to proposal deadlines which involves working extra hours(if required) & working on weekends
• Area of coverage: Ghana mainly

• Extensive traveling
• Skills Essential: Good presentation skills
• Negotiation skills good command on Microsoft office
