Job Description Women Training on the Design and Production of Quality Reusable Sanitary Pads and Kits. Background IGEA programme, Menstruate and Educate since 2019 has provided over 3,000 washable/reusable period products to girls in rural communities in Ghana, reaching over 500 girls, 9 schools, and an all-girls’ juvenile prison in Accra. As a result, beneficiary girls' monthly average school absenteeism decreased from an average of 5 days per month to 2 days per month and their confidence in the participation of class lessons increased by at least an extra 25%. Through the community workshops around menstruation and the cultural taboos, the programme has also been able to reach over 500 community leaders, parents, and teachers.
