Job Description

A reputable Foundation (an NGO) has been very instrumental and dynamic in driving many initiatives and projects across the nation. The Foundation has great experience and potential, which makes it eligible to receive many grants. Seeking a very hardworking, dedicated, dynamic and competent individual to help the Foundation with Grant proposals and fundraising in general.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Help raise funds for the organization
  • Search for available grants and research their requirements to find opportunities that align with their organization’s mission.
  • Assist in drafting project scope, brief, expectations and deliverables of projects
  • Help with internal and external communications
  • Any other duties incidental to the assignment or which may be assigned to you

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing or related area.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Grant Writing
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising process
  • Very articulate and effective communicator
  • Strong time management and very timely in the execution of duties
  • Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources
  • Multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and long hours when needed
  • Must be self-motivated, able to use initiative and think outside the box
  • Organized, efficient, adept at multitasking, and driven to succeed.
