Marriage Link (M-Link Consult) is a company that responds to pressing social and family challenges facing the Ghanaian society, in particular the institution of marriage (www.marriagelink.net).  The company has the objective of promoting social happiness and wellbeing through the institution of marriage. In this regard, the company provides a one-stop shop of marriage support. We have four distinct but inter-related packages spanning Marriage Partner Identification, Counselling services and Marriage Events management.

About the Role

This is a Corporate Events planning and management role. Marriage Link has a number of public events lined up for the year and the incumbent will be the task lead, working closely with colleagues in other Departments and Units to achieve collective success. The incumbent will:

• Lead in preparation of Events Concepts and Briefs.
• Coordinate Events logistics
• Prepare proposals for Events sponsorship
• Prepare budgets and identify other resource needs for an Event.
• Negotiate quotes and agreements with Vendors
• Assist with Events Marketing

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

• Tertiary education with at least three years of relevant practical experience.

Required Competences

• Previous experience in Events coordination and management.
• Knowledge of events budgets preparation
• Ability to prepare concept notes for Events
• Familiarity with the events management landscape in Ghana.
• Previous experience in seeking sponsorships for Events.

Compensation 

• Attractive and commensurate with experience. We also pay SSNIT.
