• Reports To: General Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The successful applicant shall be responsible for developing new products and identifying high potential business segments. He/she shall develop techniques to increase crop quality.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of technical & development strategy, budget & statistics in the Organization and other English speaking West Africa countries (Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone).
• Create and manage tailor made solutions and adapting global product portfolio for crop protection products, fertilizers, vector control and domestic pest’s controls products and vegetables seeds and traits portfolio. 
• Monitor local regulator’s activities in the Organization.
• Represents the company in front of local external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities.
• Manage local products registration on due time per segments.
• Ensure company product stewardship.
• Design and run all stakeholders training on all tropical crops.
• Manage and elaborate all testing protocols related to the Organization’s products in accordance with the national research institute across English speaking West Africa.
• Monitor the implementation of trials programs in research institutes, in commercial & smallholders’ farmers.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Agronomy Field.
• Good experience in agrochemical field.
• Project Management experience will be an added advantage.
• Outstanding statistics and mathematical skills.
