• Job Title: Architect Project Manager (Construction Finishing Works)
• Job Location: Kwahu, Eastern Region, Ghana
• Employment Type: Fixed Term (12 months contract)
• Report to: Project Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with an Architecture background to be responsible for overseeing the construction finishing works on all our projects. The Architect will be responsible for ensuring that the finishing works are executed to the highest quality standards.

    Duties

• Oversee the construction finishing works, including flooring, painting, electrical and plumping installations, plasterboard installations, cabinetry and all MEP works.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other construction documents related to the finishing works.
• Monitor the quality of the work being performed and ensure that all work meets or exceeds the project standards and specifications.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and provide guidance and support to the contractors and subcontractors performing the finishing works.
• Collaborate with the project manager and other members of the project team to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Ensure that the construction schedule is maintained and that all deadlines are met.
• Review and approve invoices from contractors and subcontractors related to the finishing works.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant building regulations.

Required Skills or Experience

• Proven experience as an Architect / Construction Project Manager, with a focus on construction finishing works.
• Strong Knowledge of construction methods and techniques.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• More than ten (10) years of post-qualification experience.

Educational Qualification

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in Architecture, Project Management, or Construction will be an added advantage
