• Work Location: Perbi Cubs Office, West Legon, Accra

YOUR ROLE
We are looking for Business Development Officers who will implement the organisations marketing, operations and business development strategies in order to achieve set targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Implementation (35%)

• Implement sales strategies and targets for the Perbi Cubs brand to increase the clientele base.
• Develop tactics and comprehensive implementation plans to execute the strategy.
• Develop a regular scheme and metrics for market surveys to inform the company’s strategy
• Proactively devise plans to keep the relationship between Perbi Cubs and stakeholders a mutually beneficial one.
• Lead registration of cubs in all zones in the Greater Accra region for the Perbi Cubs Reading Campaign.

Business Development (30%)

• Recommend marketing approaches and budgets that can help the Perbi Cubs brand attain its goals and target.
• Seek new leads and follow-up on leads introductions to new parents, and partnerships with schools.
• Deliver excellent presentations and marketing material to increase the patronage of our services.
• Develop and nurture cordial relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Client Management and Stakeholder Engagement (30%)

• Create a smooth customer onboarding experience.
• Attend Board, sub-committee and project meetings to ensure excellent customer experience is considered in all organizational plans for customer retention
• Engage in customer service support activities of the Business Development Team
• Create ideas and solutions to make service delivery better and profitable
• As a team player, perform any necessary role and or task to make successful service delivery

Team Leadership and Self Development (5%)

• Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organisation’s mission.
• Demonstrate initiative and innovation in the execution of your duties and in all dealings with the entire Perbi Cubs team.
• Develop and implement plan for personal and professional development.

Required Skills or Experience

1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field
2. Must have at least 3 years of working experience in managing business development or sales.
3. In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, communication and best practices
4. Must be creative and able to express creativity in words for team members to appreciate
5. Workable Knowledge of brand building and sustenance, strategy formulation, implementation and monitoring and evaluation
6. Workable Knowledge of managing internal and external stakeholders
7. Workable Knowledge of traditional social media and public relations
8. Strong analytical ability and able to interpret and use market data
9. Resilient and good critical thinking skills
10. Good negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
11. Good collaboration skills in working with creative and remote teams
12. Ability to use Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite and other collaborative tools
