• What you’ll be called: Senior Product Owner 
• Who you’ll report to: Products Manager

What recruiting company does:
The company has over 10 years providing digital and SMS mobile Value Added Services (VAS) to Mobile Network Operators (MNO) in Ghana. The company is expanding its digital services across different channels and seeks self-motivating and proven digital product professionals with demonstrable experience to join its digital team.

What you’ll do:

• Be the digital product SME for the company, and business stakeholders.
• Generate sales strategies and organize campaigns to maintain product growth.
• Manage the product backlog to deliver customer facing content services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories.
• Work with UI and UX teams to ensure quality delivery focusing on customer centric design.
• Ensure safe and fast delivery by directing and completing testing and QA activities.
• Manage social media platforms for all company products.
• Manage vendor interactions and reporting in conjunction with the digital delivery.
• Ensure published content on digital platforms meet approved criteria.
• Contribute to customer change activities along with marketing and other teams.

Required Skills or Experience

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computing, Marketing or related field.
• 4+ years experience in digital transformation and platform delivery.
• Proven success in managing digital assets to meet business objectives.
• Proven broad commercial awareness of best practice for digital strategy.
• Proven experience in customer journey mapping and designs.
• Proficient in social media management tools for publishing, engagement, and analytics.
• Agile delivery experience is an asset.

And if you’ve got some of these, even better:

• Experience with marketing complex or digital products or services.
• Experience with Agile delivery and use of Agile related software tools such as JIRA.
• Experience in stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Understanding of integrated digital workflows, migration and change management.
