Job Description

• Teaching all area of the curriculum.
• Fully conversant with the JOLLY PHONICS programme.
• Motivate and stimulate a child's learning abilities, encourage learning through experience
• Set clear and appropriate lesson objectives for all groups of children
• Assist with the development of children's personal, social, language skills and physical coordination abilities
• Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
• Ensure the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the classroom
• Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play
• Supervising playground activities, lunch and nap times
• Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of five (5) years teaching experience as a nursery teacher in an international school
• Training in Jolly Phonics
• A degree or relevant certificate in early childhood development or preschool teaching
• A lively, fun and bubbly personality
