Job Description

• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
• Inspects the quality of the food and ingredients and manages special dietary needs.
• Coordinates, hire and train all and new kitchen staff to ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintains a clean and organized kitchen, taking into consideration all health and safety regulations.
• Oversees purchasing to stay within certain budget.

Required Skills or Experience

• Certificate in culinary arts from a recognized Establishment.
• Incredible food preparation abilities.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in similar role.
• Knowledge in Food Safety, deep knowledge of the food industry and trends.

PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT

• Supervises operation of restaurant including bar area.
• Effectively delegate jobs and responsibilities to restaurant staff.
• Monitor purchasing of supplies and perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service. 
• Work with management personnel to plan and organise restaurant events.
• Organise and oversee regular training of all restaurant staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
