Job Description

A reputable educational institution is looking for an experienced driver to join the support staff department. Based in East Legon, you will be part of a dynamic team. Applicants should have a strong work ethic and be able to work efficiently with minimum supervision. We are looking for flexible people who are able to quickly adapt to situations.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL UNDERTAKE THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

Safely transport pupils to and from their homes.
Assist pupils to board on and off the bus safely.
Occasionally as may be required, transport staff on assigned tasks.
Keeping the bus clean and mechanically fit always for operations.
Additional duties may be assigned when the need arises.

Required Skills or Experience

Must have at least a formal basic education, hence can read and interpret maps and street signs.
Must have a valid driver's license issued by the Drivers Vehicle License Authority (DVLA) in the class that officially permits him to drive a bus.
Must have at least two (2) years of experience in driving buses in the cities.
Must be accommodating, friendly and establish a harmonized relationship with pupils, staff and parents.
An ability to speak English and or French aside the Ghanaian Language is an advantage.
