Job Description

  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark up factors.
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services ,brand equity, awareness, and exposure,.
  • Formulation of Promotion and measuring efficiency of promotion scheme
  • Positioning of the brand with effective utilisation of budget.
  • Updating width and depth of own and competition/ studying competitors' products and services
  • Researching and reporting on external opportunities
  • Monitoring and analysing market trends of pricing/ consumer behaviour/ packaging/service etc.
  • Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Regular conducting of brand/quality/service/pricing and promotion survey to understand the competitors activity
  • Understanding current and potential customers
  • Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
  • Managing the POS of promotional material
  • Managing the customer journey (customer relationship management)
  • Developing the marketing strategy and plan
  • Management of the marketing mix
  • Prelaunch and Post launch activity of new products
  • Conducting survey for demand estimation and market potential for new and existing products
  • Managing marketing agencies
  • Ensuring timely delivery of marketing task
  • Making customer focused decisions
  • Liaising with other internal departments such as Sales and Logistics
  • Timely preparation of report to monitor results/ Research report of assign subject
  • Travelling to trade shows, conferences and sales meetings
  • Should be able to respond well to pressure
  • Think creatively
  • work well in a team and with a wide range of people
  • Manage overall MIS for the Marketing functions.

Required Skills or Experience

  • MBA in Marketing must have post MBA 10+ years of experience in Marketing/ Branding or Business analysis.
  • Excellent in English oral & written communication skills.
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point and other necessary computer tools proficiency is a must
  • Knowledge of French language would be an additional advantage
