Job Description

Currently, Abt Associates is implementing Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) in five selected districts in the Northern Region: Kumbungu, West Mamprusi, East Mamprusi, Mamprugu/Moagduri And Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo districts.

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill temporary positions as Site Managers (16 positions) at each of the following operational sites/ sub-district:

 Duties:

• Responsible for daily preparation of the soak pit for IRS activities
• Ensure that the daily spray operating procedures are observed
• Responsible for crosschecking daily maintenance
• Ensure that the spray operator is fit and prepared for the daily activities.
• Ensure that Spray Operator properly signed in and out daily
• Responsible for daily & weekly maintenance of spraying equipment particularly the pump.
• Ensuring environmental compliance at the site at all time
• Ensuring personal protection procedures at the site(washing and use of PPEs)
• Receive and distribute  insecticides to spray operators daily 
• Take account of empty sachets/bottles of insecticides daily
• Track the issues and returns of insecticides daily
• Reconcile and balance the insecticides usage weekly.
• Organize PPEs for daily use
• Assist supervise field operations if need be

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in IRS operations is an advantage
