Yinson Production is a multinational Company in the business of building, operating and managing Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessels, and Mobile Offshore Production Units (MOPU) for the Oil and Gas Industry. Currently Yinson Production operates FPSOs in Gabon, Nigeria, Vietnam and Ghana. Yinson Production has formed a Joint venture company, Yinson Production West Africa Ltd (YPWAL) in Ghana with Oil and Marine Agencies Limited (OMA Ghana).

Job Description

Mission

Ensure safe and efficient helicopter operation

Scope

• Responsible for all helicopter operations, including personnel transportation. 
• The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description 

Duties

• Follow Permit to Work procedures
• Manage personnel transportation and make ensure visitors log reflect actual POB 
• Prior to arrival of helicopter, inspect all safety equipment and ensure that required personnel is present and ready
• Arrange briefing meetings for all arriving personnel
• Arrange safety briefing for personnel leaving by helicopter
• Ensure lodging and logging of all personnel on-board
• Make sure crew change is executed the way that off signing personnel is released only when relievers is confirmed on-board, or as approved by OIM
• On-the-job-training of FPSO personnel and trainees 
• Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
• Member of Emergency Response Team

Required Skills or Experience

• Essential Criteria - to have completed approved education and training and meet the standard of competence specified in section A-II/2 of the STCW Code for masters on ships of 3000 gross tonnage or more.
• 15 to 20 years offshore experience
• Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix
• Must possess the leadership qualities needed to run large, complex organizations
• Excellent command in both written and spoken English.
