Job Description

1. Initiate, implement, and manage the maintenance strategies based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling preventative/reactive maintenance.
2. Manages a team of outsourced maintenance contractors and ensures that maintenance contractors are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost‐effective manner. 
3. Widen the pool of Outsourced contractors as a continuing effort to improve the quality of service offered and also develop a relationship with all existing maintenance partners, both individually and as a group
4. Be available to initiate emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, as required for: failure of electrical & mechanical systems 
5. Carry out holistic portfolio survey to assess units for remedial maintenance, supervise refurbishment / mini project works and prepare reports as requested  
6. Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly Maintenance reports. 

Required Skills or Experience

1. Good Experience and an excellent knowledge of facilities management. Experience in one or more fields of plumbing, electrical, carpentary or masonry is an added on advantage
2. A valid class ‘B’ or ‘A’ driver’s license 
3. A good understanding of property maintenance, methodologies and processes 
4. A good communicator, with a track record of well-organized methodical work patterns
