Job Description

Provide professional and confidential administrative support to the Human Resource Office through a service orientated approach in planning, coordinating and communicating the team’s strategic priorities to staff, management and other stakeholders.

The Package

  • The position is based in Accra with some level of domestic travel.
  • The position comes with an attractive salary package.
  • S/He reports to the Human Resource Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Human Resource Director in management of the team calendar/events and update as required to avoid potential conflicts;
  • Manage and be up-to-date on the status of key projects, tasks and responsibilities of the team members;
  • Organize Human Resource team meetings and ensure accurate account of proceedings and action items;
  • Coordinate all aspects of travel for the Human Resource team including flights, connections, road transportation, accommodation, visas, security & safety requirements;
  • Ensure the procurement of supplies and equipment for HR Office;
  • Collate monthly and quarterly HR reports;
  • Respond to routine HR issues and determine which issues need to be referred to team members;
  • Handle all HR related queries from staff and external clients;
  • Assist with the review of on-boarding and orientation documentation process of new hires;
  • Support other HR Managers in creating orientation packets for new hires to include all required documents.
  • Provide logistics and administrative support for staff orientation and induction program

Required Skills or Experience

  • BA in Human Resources Management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR Administration or similar role. 
  • Strong interpersonal skill;
  • Ability to work independently, but also to coordinate and consult effectively as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills;
  • Planning and organizational skills;
  • High integrity with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Must be a Christian
  • Customer Care skills
  • Good communication skills, in both written and oral form;
  • Honesty and personal integrity and ability to  handle sensitive and confidential information;
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a high multi-national environment;
  • Paying attention to details;
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
